the diversity of its' people by keeping
Berkeley's history a part of our lives.
The History Center contains space for
exhibitions, library, and archives.
A hands-on health museum sponsored by
Children's Hospital and Research Center
at Oakland. Exhibits, videos, field
trips, community events. Open 10am-4pm,
Tue.-Sat. Wheelchair life at the corner
of Kittredge and Harold Way. Reservations
required for field trip groups. Admission:
$5.00 per person. Children under 3 are

From large exhibits to small surprises,
LHS is dedicated to hands-on exploration.
It combines an awe-inspiring 180-degree
view of San Francisco Bay with an outdoor
science park on the evolution of the
Bay, "Forces That Shape the Bay."

The Berkeley brewery was established
in 1982. The sake tasting room offers
a complete selection of sake and plum
wine products. The Museum includes a
display illustrating the sake-making

Garden is a living museum open to the

Explore an authentically restored aircraft
carrier from Captain's Bridge to Engine
Room. A National Historical Landmark,
this ship participated in WWII and the
Apollo 11 moon mission. Exhibits include

boating, hiking and biking trails around
the lake. Frisbee golf in the meadows.
There is also a fitness exercise course.
"Dream Land for Kids," a playground
featuring extensive wooden castles,
walkways and other structures, as well
as a habitat for bird and aquatic life.
Limited parking is available on east
side of the park. Handicapped / wheelchair
